Oh my Gosh! SHOKUN in NEW YORK

Live-action sci-fi remake from Ichi the Killer helmer, Honey and Clover star

Director Takashi Miike (Crows Zero, Ichi the Killer, The Great Yokai War) and Arashi singer/actor Sho Sakurai (Honey and Clover) will appear at the world premiere of their live-action film remake of the Yatterman anime at New York Comic Con on February 6. The two will travel from Japan for a 4:00 p.m. panel and the movie's 5:00 p.m. screening in New York City. Sakurai stars as Gan Takada, one half of the Yatterman superhero duo who fights the nefarious Dorombo gang. The science-fiction comedy movie will open in Japan on March 7.

  2. AH!  I am a Matsumoto ichiban, but Sho comes as a close second, so I don't know if I should save my money for a possible concert this summer or go to NY!  Ah!  For all of you who live in New York, I hope you realize how lucky you are!
