2015.02.03 AD - Preparation = 120%.

Good morning. This is Arashi’s Ohno Satoshi.
Here’s today’s thought of the day; come on!
"Putting 120% in preparation is just to support yourself."

Man, really.
This is a quote from the TV show of the English Royal Ballet’s Principal Guest Artist, the world-renowned ballerina Yoshida Miyako-san.
Ohh. As you’ll never know what will happen during the actual performance on stage, you’ve got to give your 100% onstage, and in order to do that, you need to put 120% in repeatedly practising every day.
Ohh, that’s amazing. This was sent in by listener Minami-san. The message reads:
"Satoshi-kun, good morning. In February and March, I’ll be taking the national beauty artist exams. I encountered this quote when I used to do ballet and I’ve taken it to heart and I’m currently doing my best now. On that note, if Satoshi-kun could say, ‘Minami, do your best!’, it’ll be a great encouragement."
Minami, do your best!
That had real emotion there. Really put my heart into it. Yeah. That was 120%. Naturally, it’s a big thing in dance as well.

Man, the other time I went to watch PLAYZONE. Since they’re going to demolish the Aoyama Theatre.

Tsubasa and Yaracchi and Yuma-kun and all are the main guys. And we’ve all been there while backdancing for concerts and all. It’s been ages since I’ve been, hasn’t it? To Aoyama Theatre.

I also got to be in PLAYZONE several times. And then, well, I got to do stage plays there. I got to do WEST SIDE STORY there, too.
Naturally there’s a lot of memories associated with that place. Mm.

Man, it’s really full of dancing. There’s a couple of acts and the first act is already full of dancing. So when the first act ended, there was a short intermission, so I went into the waiting room for the people concerned and sat down. Then Tsubasa breezed in and was like, "Ah, Oh-chan!"
"Ohh, it’s been a while!" I said.

"Man, you… you… you should take a break!" Since I figured he’d have to dance more later.

"Nah, it’s fine."

But actually it’s really tough, right? And then Yaracchi was also like, "Ah, Oh-chan!" and came over. I was happy.

And then I went into Tsubasa’s green room. "Come to my green room."
"Can I? Really?"

Man, it’s really been ages since I’ve talked to Tsubasa. We don’t really have much chance to meet. Back in the days of the boarding house, we were always hanging out together. I was worried about his health and that his condition wasn’t great, but he was like, "Ah, I’m completely fine now."

Previously, I mentioned it on radio - that he’s got amazing muscles. He’s still going strong. It was like, "This is it! I’m seeing the real thing!"
Yeah, but well, they really danced a lot. That was a great motivation. Like I figure I really gotta work hard. I got to see something great.
Naturally if you don’t put in 120%, I think I won’t be able to dance to that extent. Everyone’s doing it. So from now on I’m going to put in 120% of my feelings and do my best!
That’s all; this was Ohno Satoshi!
